▶ Data & Privacy
This Privacy Policy explains how 2jber collects, uses, stores and protects personal information in connection with your use of our online gaming information platform. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and transparently.
We collect only the data genuinely necessary to operate the 2jber platform. No data is collected speculatively or without a lawful basis. You are not profiled for advertising purposes based on gambling behaviour.
All personal data held by 2jber is protected by appropriate technical and organisational security measures — including SSL/TLS encryption in transit and access controls at rest — to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure.
You have the right to access, correct, export or request deletion of your personal data held by 2jber. Requests are handled promptly and without unnecessary barriers.
2jber does not sell, rent or trade personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. Data shared with service providers is governed by strict contractual obligations limiting its use to the agreed purpose.
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
We explain clearly what data we collect, why we collect it and how long we keep it — in plain English, not dense legal jargon. If this Policy changes, we will notify users prominently on the Platform.
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is issued by the operator of the 2jber platform ("2jber", "we", "us", "our"), accessible at https://2jber.cam (the "Platform"). It describes how we collect, process, store, share and protect personal data relating to individuals ("Users", "you") who access or interact with the Platform.
2jber operates as an online gaming information platform. We are not a gambling operator, casino, sportsbook or financial institution. We do not process payments, accept wagers or hold gambling licences. Our services are limited to publishing educational and informational content about sports betting, live casino categories and responsible gambling.
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and consent to the data practices described herein. If you do not agree with this Policy, you must discontinue use of the Platform. This Policy applies to all users of the Platform regardless of location, including users in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and other cities across Pakistan.
Note: This Policy governs data processed by 2jber in connection with the Platform only. If you click through to a third-party gambling operator, that operator's own privacy policy governs the data they collect. 2jber has no control over, and bears no responsibility for, third-party data practices.
2jber collects the minimum amount of personal data necessary to operate the Platform effectively. The categories of data we may collect are set out below.
As an information platform with no financial transaction functionality, 2jber does not collect:
We collect personal data through the following means:
We do not purchase personal data from data brokers, scrape social media profiles or obtain personal data from third parties for the purpose of profiling Platform users.
Where data protection law requires a lawful basis for processing personal data, 2jber relies on the following bases:
| Processing Activity | Lawful Basis |
|---|---|
| Account registration and management | Performance of a contract / User consent |
| Responding to support enquiries | Legitimate interests (providing requested support) |
| Platform security and fraud prevention | Legitimate interests (protecting the Platform and Users) |
| Platform analytics and performance monitoring | Legitimate interests / User consent for non-essential cookies |
| Legal compliance and regulatory obligations | Compliance with applicable legal obligations |
| Service improvement and product development | Legitimate interests |
2jber uses collected personal data solely for the following purposes:
We do not use personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals, nor for behavioural advertising.
2jber may engage trusted third-party service providers to assist in operating the Platform — including web hosting providers, analytics platforms and security services. These providers are permitted to process personal data solely for the agreed service purpose and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose. All such providers are bound by data processing agreements.
We may disclose personal data to law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies or courts where required to do so by Applicable Law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety or property of 2jber, its users or the public.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of all or part of the business, personal data held by 2jber may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to equivalent privacy protections. Users will be notified of any such change via a prominent notice on the Platform prior to transfer.
2jber does not sell, rent, exchange or commercially transfer personal data to third parties. References to payment providers such as Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah on this Platform are contextual only — no user data is shared with those entities and they have no relationship with 2jber's data processing activities.
Third-Party Platforms: If you navigate from 2jber to a third-party gambling operator or any external service, their own privacy policies govern the data they collect. 2jber has no control over those practices and accepts no responsibility for them.
2jber uses cookies and similar technologies to enable the Platform to function correctly, analyse usage patterns and — where you have consented — improve your experience. The types of cookies we use are as follows:
| Cookie Type | Purpose | Consent Required |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Session management, login authentication, security tokens and CSRF protection. The Platform cannot function without these. | No — functionally essential |
| Analytics / Performance | Aggregate usage statistics (pages visited, time on site, navigation paths) to help us understand and improve Platform performance. | Yes — consent-based |
| Preference / Functional | Storing user preferences such as language settings or previously visited content categories to improve return visit experience. | Yes — consent-based |
You may manage, restrict or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may impair the functionality of certain Platform features. For analytics and preference cookies, you may withdraw consent at any time through the cookie management panel where available.
We do not use cookies for cross-site behavioural advertising, real-time bidding or the tracking of users across third-party websites.
2jber implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access. These measures include:
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage users to use strong, unique passwords and to enable two-factor authentication where available.
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users without undue delay, in accordance with our obligations under Applicable Law.
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable legal, regulatory or contractual obligations. General retention guidelines are as follows:
| Data Category | Retention Period |
|---|---|
| Account registration data | For the duration of the account, plus up to 2 years following account closure or last activity — or longer if required by law |
| Support communications | Up to 3 years from the date of the last communication in the relevant thread |
| Analytics and usage data | Up to 26 months in aggregate or anonymised form; shorter periods for raw IP-associated data |
| Security and access logs | Up to 12 months, unless an active security investigation requires longer retention |
| Legal compliance records | As required by applicable law — typically 5–7 years depending on jurisdiction and obligation type |
When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be linked to an identifiable individual.
Subject to the requirements of Applicable Law, you may have the following rights in respect of your personal data held by 2jber. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 16.
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, together with information about how it is processed, where it is stored and for how long.
If any personal data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that it be corrected or updated without undue delay.
In certain circumstances, you may request that we delete personal data we hold about you. This right is not absolute — retention may be required by law or to defend legal claims.
You may request that we temporarily suspend processing of your data in specific circumstances — for example, while you contest the accuracy of data we hold.
Where processing is based on consent or contract, you may request a copy of your personal data in a commonly used, machine-readable format for transfer to another service where technically feasible.
You may object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. We will cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms.
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
We will respond to all rights requests within a reasonable timeframe and no later than required by applicable law. We reserve the right to verify your identity before processing a request to protect against unauthorised disclosures.
The 2jber Platform is strictly intended for use by adults aged 18 years or older, or the higher minimum age required by the applicable operator or licence jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from individuals below the minimum age requirement.
If we become aware that personal data has been collected from an individual who does not meet the minimum age requirement, we will take prompt steps to delete that data and restrict access for the relevant account.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data to 2jber without your knowledge, please contact us immediately using the details in Section 16.
Personal data collected by 2jber may be processed in countries other than the one in which you are located. Where such international transfers occur involving personal data of users located in jurisdictions with applicable data transfer rules, 2jber will ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place — such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognised under applicable law — to protect your data in transit.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred, stored and processed in countries outside Pakistan. We take reasonable steps to ensure that international transfers comply with applicable data protection requirements.
2jber's Platform is designed primarily for users in Pakistan. We are mindful that Pakistan's regulatory landscape — including provisions of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 (PECA), the Pakistan Telecommunication (Re-organisation) Act, 1996, and emerging data protection frameworks — may affect how personal data is collected and processed in the Pakistani context.
We do not share user data with the Government of Pakistan, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the State Bank of Pakistan or any Pakistani financial institution unless required to do so by a valid legal order. We do not use personal data collected through the Platform to facilitate any unlawful activity under Pakistani law, including activities that may be restricted under the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977.
Payment service references appearing on this Platform — including Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah — are provided for informational context only. No user data is transmitted to or shared with these payment providers through 2jber's data systems.
2jber reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time. When material changes are made, we will update the "Effective Date" and "Last Reviewed" date at the top of this page and, where changes are significant, provide a prominent notice on the Platform homepage for a reasonable period following the update.
Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of an updated Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the updated Policy, you must discontinue use of the Platform and may submit a data deletion request as described in Section 11. We recommend reviewing this Policy periodically to remain informed of any changes to our data practices.
For all privacy-related enquiries, data rights requests or concerns about the handling of your personal data, please contact the 2jber support team. The email address below is displayed as plain text only — it is not a clickable link.
When submitting a data rights request, please include sufficient information to allow us to identify your account — such as the email address used at registration — and specify clearly the nature of your request (e.g., access, deletion, correction). We will verify your identity before processing any request involving personal data disclosure.
